If your green bin or small kitchen container is broken, bring it in! We will recycle it and give you a new one. If you’re a new resident, Dufferin County will provide you with a green bin and a small kitchen container for your organics. Extra containers are also available for a fee.
Dufferin County does not distribute garbage containers or blue boxes.
Recycling in Dufferin County
Circular Materials Ontario (CMO) oversees the residential Blue Box program in Dufferin County. Please direct all residential recycling inquiries to CMO’s contractor GFL. For new or replacement blue boxes, please call GFL at 1-888-941-3345 ext. 1 to make arrangements.
