Road Load Restrictions (5 tonnes per axle) occur seasonally based on weather and road conditions, at the discretion of the County Engineer. Road load restrictions are generally in effect from March 1 – May 15. The schedule is subject to change at the discretion of the County Engineer.
As of March 1, 2024, most County Roads are under a load restriction of 5 tonnes per axle until further notice.
Dufferin County’s Towns and Townships implement their own road load restrictions on municipal roads. Please contact their office directly for restrictions.
